Over 25 years ago, Canine Companions national board of directors established the Jack Warnock Award, named after longtime volunteer and graduate Jack Warnock.

This annual, prestigious award acknowledges excellent volunteerism on a national level, with one volunteer winning from our six regions. We’re pleased to recognize South Central Region volunteer Maeve Cooney from Texas, as the 2025 Jack Warnock Award recipient.

We’re grateful for the commitment and support of all of our volunteers and congratulate Maeve and the 2025 National Board of Directors Regional Volunteer Award winners on their outstanding volunteerism in support of our mission.
